dodge daytona help :S

hey all im new with this thing of modelin , 3d max and with makin cars well :? ops: :lol:

i got problems with the roof have been tryin to fix it but i cant get it right lol dunno wut is it hope u guys can help me :twisted:

Show some unsmoothed wires. Can't really say much without seeing them first. :wink:

dodge daytona help :S

My best guess would be check the smoothing groups for the sides of the cabin and the roof, it looks like part of the roof is sharing a group with the side wall, which would make that sortof swoop mishmash happen, in theory, I think.

here it is the renders doesnt have meshsmooth or that thing :S i used shell in the door,hood but the other 1 doesnt have any

I think it's a smoothing grooups problem I've got the same thing with the hood of mine.Try to apply a different group to the roof
(smoothing groups are not meshsmoothing you must apply them to your model or normals will look weird an easy way to do it it's to switch to polygon level select them all and go in polygon properties hit auto-smooth with a value of 30 )
If I am not clear I can post a screenie when i get back to home to explain better.
