Fastback Mustang
I have a bit of experience with this car model. It was my very first attempt at a 3D model. That was a long time ago however, and I've gotten at least a little bit better in my modelling.
So I am this car once again, this time with some prints (a luxury I didn't have the first time around). I think i may need to make the scallop (or whatever its called) a little less deep, but we'll see how it goes. |

Fastback Mustang
Small update before I go to sleep. I work kind of slow, which is why there isn't a huge amount of progress between my updates. Progress is progress though.
Gonna work on it some more tomorrow and hopefully finish up the body. |

Fastback Mustang
Got the back end mostly done (save for details).
The poly structure around where the roof meets the rear deck is a bit messy, so I may redo that portion. I'll have to see how it looks with normals. As for converting to Racer; I don't have it, so I don't know how to go about doing that, but when I'm finished if somebody who knows how would like to, I can give them the mesh to do so. |

Working on the front end now.
Very tricky getting all the curves and creases looking good. Took me a long while just to get the little dent where the front bumper wraps around to look like it does, and it still looks a bit funky to me. |

Fastback Mustang
Got the upper half of the front done. The shape of the headlight bucket is a little off, but it took me last night and most of today to get it the way it is now so I don't plan on changing it too much. :x
Not sure if I'm gonna make the lanyard for the hood pin or not..... Back to working on the front valence now. ![]() |

Fastback Mustang
Got the front bumper semi-finished. I need to fix the shape of it and the valence and then it's time for the (hope fully easier) back bumper.
It may look like a lot of wasted polies, but I usually go back over the mesh at the end and get rid of unnecessary faces. |
