i just started like 3 weeks ago by trial and error and tryign to model the whole car and not succeding so im trying a defferent method. Plane modeling heres my front bumper so far

Well Its really hard to say, the c ar is coming off as very wide and for some reason looks like I guess it has zero perspective in the screen capture. I think more work is needed before I can give an honest analysis.

it's totaly off, maybe you need some reference and prints before you can really start it...

If you're correctly following the blueprints, either the blueprints are way off, or they're not set up properly.

thanks man i think that would help alot i just like started and im still getting used to the program. I found some 1024 X 1024 blueprints that i downloaded with a unfinished eclipse i just wanted to use the blueprints.

well at some point today (01/27/05) or tommorrow (01/28/05) ill post some updates. Ive added a flare of evo to the front bumper and maybe to the hood just a touch of the style. the car is gold right now and its looking good by my standards which are fricking strict and im a perfectionist.

hmm well it seems to smashed to me, best bet is to look at reference pictures of the real deal and keep working on areas that you like on the real car until you get them right and they resemble what you see in the pictures.

i suggest you start this model all over, becouse it's so messed up i dunno how you could fix it all... I'm ajusting my renders for those pics i promised some time ago


edit: here they are, what i suggest is that you add them to your car aproximately and see what is off and then try to fix it :wink:

thanks shorty theyve been helpful and i have once again restarted this project for the .... **** ive lost count. and in my opinion its taking a better shape then the earlier times. and more realistic. there was something wrong with my blueprints being placed and streched some of them a little too wide.

Don't worry, it's only for the best... I've redone mine around... 4 times.. one low poly and lots of tries
