My 3DS MAX model - BA Falcon XR

I've never used 3DS MAX for modelling before despite knowing how to use it well. I never knew poly modelling actually worked well

Here is my first model ever. It took me ten hours from scratch including the time taken to learn how to model.

the body alone uses 684 polys. The entire car uses 25000 polys. This model was only a quick test. It wasn't meant for realtime use or raytracing, so it's kind of useless. The wheels use most of the polygons

Oh yeah, and I used photos from this site for the main views along with lots of pics off google for reference

Poly modelling dominates all... ALL! So how was it for you? I think you would be absolutely insane not to pursue this further, honestly.

Great job, more to come?

Spare change?

You put an ST bumper on it?
Since this is the stock one

Anyway, nice to see someone modeling this car, really sweet!

Actually, I'm probably not doing anything more on the model. It was just a learning exercise. I didn't know what specific model I was modelling. I used the pictures off this site and I prefer the bumper anyway

Another pic with a meshsmooth applied

Great model for your first attempt.

I don't mean to be rude but I think the front is too flat. That's how I see it.
By all means keep going

Regards, Simulator
