Just another lowpoly project. Once I got this done, I'll finish my ME 4-12. And maybe a realy animation for the first time. Say drag these two? Anyways, this is where I'm ending after 2 or 3 hours. any crits would be appreciated, this is a weird one to do.

Thanks everyone for the comments.T

he poly count so far is 3698. And I'm just about done with the body.

I3iggy >> When you say indent the windows, you mean set them back from the body, right? Cus I was gonna but then I realized that the actual car, the windows *espcially the back one* sit pretty much flush with the body panel.

hmm I think the edges are too sharp on the car. This car used to be like the EVO 8 is around here. But that was a long time ago now, not seen one of these done in a while.

Here's an update, and the poly count is sitting at 4638 right now

Icekid84 >> I was gonna add more polies to soften the edges rather than just detaching the pieces... but I am first going to wait and see how high the poly count is with a floor and wheels, if I can do everything for under 8,000 polies, then I'll do that, otherwise this body is just about final.

my only complaint is the entire front has areas that just look to soft. especially the front lower part of the nose around the intakes or whatever those are. Also the middle section of the car in the front just looks to soft as well compared to the side front fenders.

Thanks for all the comments!

Icekid84 >> I know what you mean about the front looking a tad soft. And once again, its an issue that I may or may not resolve after the rest of the major components are completed. So far you're the only one who's made any mention so I might be able to get away with it.

i haven't mentioned it yet, but i've been thinking it
that whole front area is a very tricky part to do normals on, since some parts are quite sharp, but then they intersect with another corner which is really smooth, etc... its something very tough to figure out on low-poly work.
for sure you should at least sharpen the middle part of the hood, since IRL its about as sharp as the fenders.
i've recently been modeling another low-poly enzo as well, so if you at all want to see how i've done the normals (though they were temporary) on the front check out my site's WIP section.

your model as a whole looks fantastic, though, keep it up

f50 >> Thanks for the info, and I was thinking about doing pretty much what you did on the front, cept I decided against it before I even tried, But I was wrong, looks good! I like what you're doing.

An I just finished the wheels, will be adding more detail yet, when I find the time.
