Modeling my future Truck Project!

HEY WUTS UP YALL!!!!
im a newbie to the car modeling scene! I do mostly architectural renderings, so im hoping that my experience there and attention to detail can help me in this new field. Well im kind of a mini trucking kind of a guy, and i thought it would be cool to do a model of my truck, THE WAY THAT I WANT TO FIX IT UP but i have to learn how to do this car modeling thing first, so im about to attempt this nissan 200zx from a tutorial wish me luck, you all are pretty dogone talented here, i hope to get as fluent as you all.

Hey and welcome

Have you ever modeled before and what kind of program are you using?
And they're aren't many trucks modeled and I think it's hard to find good blueprints, good luck with that.

this is a work in progress

here are my mockups of my WIP, maybe dude didnt see that i was going to post some progress pics. calm down, newbie here.
Oh yea and to answer your question, yes I have modeled before, but its so much linear type of modeling though. like houses, interiors, furniture, but not a car ever. see here are a few samples of my work.
I use 3Ds Max, I have converted from doing 3D in AutoCAD to doing it in Max now for a lil while, so im still kinda getting used to max operations

im using 3ds max
I removed the links to those hideous car attempts i put on earlier till i do better. Thanks

Some nice work you got there.
To get used to max I can recommend going through the standard tuts once.
I made this with it:

Chessboard normal
Chessboard glass
Chessboard glass another angle
Chessboard glass yet another angle

Get some tuts about spline and poly modeling and see what you suits best.
I decided to make the basemesh with splines and use polymodeling for the details.

I cant Believe I did IT! MY OWNNN FIATT500

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! thats what im talking about right there!
After a whole dogone day and about 25 doovers, I finally finished the Exterior Shell for this Fiat 500!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im just going to save this image and bask in it until tommorrow i think. Eventhough I just want to continue on and finish it up! I had to switch from that Nissan, i think it was a little too hard for me. I know i probably made alot of very noticeable mistakes. This is my very very very first first first Car Model Attempt and im a little proud right now! Comments are greatly appreciated!
