Fiat 500 & R34 Skyline

Hey people.

I started to learn 3d max and did the Fiat 500 tutorial.

I then started on the R34, only trying to get the front right as it is the hardest part.
I spent a few hours on it... Deleted it... Made a new one... Deleted it... This was the 4th attempt at it. But I could never get the front bit to a point that I was happy with so I gave up on it and 3d modeling.

That was a year ago... But now my interest is back and I am hoping to get back into modeling.

lol seems as if the skyline fever around here is heating up, and were still in the Evo epidemic too... lol No it looks like a great start and should be interesting to see progress.

Ha ha ha.....

I started that Skyline 12/2003, and back then every man and his dog was making a skyline.

I still have the file which I am happy to give away to anyone that wants to contine with it. But I have no interest in working on it.

I ended up here after looking for Probe blue prints.... Looks like Krazymond will be the first to ever make one and I am sure his will be better than anything I could do.

I think he means your hood bulges out to much, the v-cut is too strong. :?

Stop chasing the stars; just sit down and watch TV.

yeah. the 'line' in the hood is way to big in his model. It is not like that in the real car. Get it.

Yeah the hood is way too big in the model....

When I said I was only working on the front, perhaps I should have said just the front grill.

The rest of the car was just a quick outline.

There is like 20+ bits on the front grill that I couldn't get right. My biggest problem is I just don't have the skills to chamfer it right.

I knew the vents in the hood were going to require a lot of chamfering so I had a go at them. And they suck big time.

Its one thing to learn what tools to use.... It's another thing to be able to use them correctly.
