started modeling in max 7 the other day and forgot to turn autoback on to save more than 3 files every 30 mins... max then freezes, i open max again and check the autobak's seeing their about 30-90 mins behind in progress. Then my mom calls me for dinner so i leave a blank max up on the screen and it copies over my autobak's... Moral of the story, SAVE YOUR WORK MORE OFTEN. I will have update soon, but would of had one tonight...

Looks great so far, really nice paints too.
Sorry to hear about the autoback issue, but from my experience, Max 7 is MUCH more stable than Max 6. Max 7 has only ever crashed once for me. I still have habits from using max 6 though. Set Ctrl + Shift + S to incremental save. Then just hit that every ~20mins. It makes tons of files, but avoids loss of data due to crashes or corruption :wink:
