Nissan Calsonic Primera JTCC

Hi guys, havent been around for a while. Got side tracked with change of job and moving etc. Been working on a few things lately, this is one of them.
Modelled in Max. There are a few thing left to do, like the interior. I learnt loads from my 206, but still getting a clean mesh is a real pain. Im planning another, so I will change the modelling method slightly.
There are a few discrepencies on the model to the real thing, as my modelling skills couldnt cope with some details.

Wow!
First render blows away.

Though geometry is not perfect.
Check the areas around lights.
Something wrong with bumper lip.
Also rims are way 2 big, put there some nice rally rims.
It's gonna look way better.

Overall great job, and wb.

And well forgot, car is flying!

Thanks guys, there are indeed some mesh errors around the model. I have had a nightmare in some areas, my skills just arnt good enough to get the detail. But i have learnt enough. By day i do arch vis. Straight lines all the way!
I will have a little tweak, the paint reflections really show up errors (unfortunatly).
Jintonic: the rims are correct to the drawings, they are pretty big, i might make them a touch smaller tho, difficult to find any real reference, actually, i havent found any. :?

What happened to the door mirrors, an angry honda driver.

Stop chasing the stars; just sit down and watch TV.

ok. Just about done on the front. I have fixed a few errors, and added a few finishing bits. Just needs a windscreen wiper. I also need to finish the graphics on the back. Once this is done I can post hi res images if anyone is interested in them.

looking good. is there a dent in the rear door just above the "o"? seems strange you have this long clean reflection and suddenly it pops up just in that spot to me. the rims look a bit lifeless to me as well. i don't think they need to be blingy chrome, but they look like they need a bit better hotspot. the rear almost has it, just a notch higher imo. nice work though.

i got 2 spoon motors and a microphone...

Nice work, looks real good.

Just how many different Calsonic cars are there?
And how is Calsonic anyway?

Cheers!. ill check out that bump, my mesh started well at the front, then got worse towards the back. There is a small graphic missing off the wheels, but they are racing mags, so they arnt very attractive, just lightweight.
As for calsonic, they make car dashboards and other parts for nissan, and they have sponsered loads of stuff. they have a website with some cool racing images on it, and there latest sponsered car.

no idea? Thats what the model looks like. plus my blueprints. I cant seem to work out about the wheel turn, but the wheel camber is very sever, so maybe the wheels dont need to turn that much anyways?

Since this is a racecar. shouldnt it have more camberangle? maybe that way it makes it easier to turn + a race cars turningratio is not equal to a standard car.

I seem to have tooooooooo many projects goin......
