Dodge Challenger - Please give me a little help =)

Hello all, i've been around smcars for a while but this is my first post, and also the first car!
I'm modeling a dodge challenger for my final school project. I choose muscle cars as a theme to this project because it's a subject that i like very much. Well, the objective of the project is to build a site about certain theme [muscle cars in my case], so i'm modeling this car and also a hole garage that will be the site's interface.

I'm modeling it all on lightwave 8 and here is a wip for you guys to crit.

there is a mirroring error near the grill as you can see.. i don't know how to fix that, any thoughts?

thx

Looks nice! Can't beat old iron! The only comment I have is on the tire, it looks bulky/truck-ish.

Keep up the good work! And hope to see more!

Try to learn something new each day!

Thanks for your C&C!

KRiS83: It's not a bump map, I actually modelled the whole tread! I used a tutorial to make it.. you can find it here: http://www.lwg3d.org/forums/showthread.php?t=16490

Hawktoey:
The tire still needs some tweaking! By bulky do you mean the tread or the whole design of it?

It's more the tread than anything. But I should tell you, I use to own a 1974 Duster and I put truck tires on it. 10-30-15's mounted on slotted alum rims to be exact and it still looked neat as hell, and went like the dickens in the snow!

Try to learn something new each day!

Are you sure the front bumper is right, yours seems to just go straight accross on the bottom I thought there was some bend to it ( err you'll probably need a picture to see what I mean) I'll post later if needed

Menaged to render with AA and radiosity on.. i've lowered the radiosity rays and it works fine now so here's another update for you guys :)

= it has some flaws like at the windshield/rear bumper etc but it's all fixed now and rendering !

it's almost finished now.. i just need some minor tweaks and a hole interior, but i'm working on that!

so, enjoy
