The model looks perfect to me but I think it deserves a better render.

Better? In which way? This is matter of opinions. I'm pretty happy with it as it is now. I got the effect and result I wanted .

In the avatar it's actually a sedan . However, as only the front end of the car is seen, which is the same for both cars, it could be the same car.

Great thing, as usual. But I agree with the first post. Yourmodel is very detailed, it deserves a better render. In which programm did you render this scene?

"Adding power makes you faster on the straights. Subtracting weight makes you faster everywhere." Colin Chapman (founder of Lotus car company)
"I dont put my helmet on for something that needs more than 8 minutes around the Nürburgring." Walter Röhrl (German Rally Driver)
"Good drivers have the dirt on their side windows" Walter Röhrl (German Rally Driver)

Great model, but it definately needs darker and softer shadows.
Nice work.

The thing is rendered in POV-Ray. As I mentioned earlier, it looks the way I wanted it to look, rather like a drawing than a photograph. I neither wanted darker shadows nor fake reflections. If I want a photorealistic thing I take my camera and do a photoograph.

I like the render and the model

Do you have bigger renders maybe?

I can see you are happy with the rendering result and i won´t try to convince you but the flat shadow underneath the model makes the car look cut/pasted on the scene. A GI shadow combined with this sharp shadow would help blending model to background.
Note that i am not talking about "realism" but of "illustration feel" -- i am an illustrator myself. My personal opinion is that your work has long exceeded POVRay´s limits.
Just an opinion!

Is it just me or is there some posts missing? When I earlier checked this post I'm pretty sure there was new pics :?
