Re: JGTC Cars: Z, GT-R, NSX, RX-7

thats pretty nice texturing, but it looks quite flat. some "shading" is really needed around those textures.
also it would make those cars look lot more realistic

Re: JGTC Cars: Z, GT-R, NSX, RX-7

thx revelli

@Zachary: yea, I really gotta put more contrast on the shading, I baked the 'shading' with a skylight so I need more post-work with photoshop and gotta agree on 'shading' making it more realistic cuz the GT4 cars simply own

Besides texturing, I modeled some minor details such as the roof scoop and the 2 flaps at the rear bumper. Bodylines, screws, hoodpins (texture) are not 100% complete yet as well as improvement on the shading.

For now:

Wow, long time no update

Since the last update, Supra was done and I started to build a race track, still learning though.

A custom skin, based on the GT4 Skyline Pace car

The track in progress, working closely with photos I found on net trying to keep it as accurate as I can

The mod revelli and I are both part of, that explains the large number of SuperGT car models he and I are making... hehe

what track is it? or just imaginary?

hmm looks like a difficult track to set up your car for hehe. especially since you have lots of bends and then almost half of the track is really high speed... great job!

if the track is imaginary you could add some profile to it like driving up and down and therefore maybe making some really difficult bends hehe.

Superb work! Love the McLaren - modeled it myself once and it looked really crap compared to this one, lol.

Any idea when the mod will be finished? You probably won't give an estimate, I guess, but I thought I'd ask anyway .

Thanks guys

Silent][Moebius: the track is called Tsukuba Circuit, one of my favourite tracks. (it's real btw )

Linsen: I really don't know when will the mod be finished. There's still plenty of work to be done and polished.

Started on the SC430
