I'll be honest and say I'm 16, and I have yet to get my drivers permit. But, my uncle has a 34 chevy 5 window coupe with a soon to be 383 mopar and 4 gear A833. He built it all himself, custom frame everything. It has IFS, but a chrysler 8 3/4 rear. Really, it doesn't ride that great either. Solid axle hotrods just have a look and feel to them which Zach said, can not be explained.

Also.....Hotrods are built for speed......not comfort.

EDIT: Here's an update. Got the firewall done, and I added a row of pollis to the front fenders:

Here's the vehicle I'm kind of going after in terms of looks:

I think that the grille should be a little sharper in the front? Hard to see from this angle tho...

Ah, that looks MUCH better. Eh, you could do transparency for the grill, it would work just as well seeing as you're using just a row of polies for it anyway. Great work as always abc.

those injector things are bit too thin lookin, that they would be more realistic if they were thicker.

Nice modeling, lovely detail, keep it up!

Though that old rod that was on Zach's avatar was scary cuz it was so big and accelerated so fast.
