Hi there,

I've been working on this quite a while and finally it looks I could show it in public

It's far from finished but the exterior part is almost done

nope, it's my second car ... I've been doing 3d for many years and wanted to try to make a cas cuz I see them everywhere ... so I made this Mercedes
http://www.richardhomola.com/Images/mercedes.jpg but it didn't turn out very well. I made a lot mistakes in modeling but learned a lot so this new car is gonna be much better

You should post tahat pic up in the background size renders forum. It looks great, especially the scene.

The Maybach looks also awesome. Not really feeling the headlights they look a bit too toyish but overall great. Any clayrenders?

clay renders here ... they're older than the first ones and lack some details especially on the lights ... I'll show it when I finish the model ...

Icekid84: well ... the materials are not finished (as well as the model) so it doesn't look perfect yet ... and the floor ... hmm ... i'll do something with that ... I'm not gonna make only the car but also the driver and complete environment around it ... I'm always trying to make a "scene" and not a plain object

Model seems flawless, detail is incredible aswell. Only the ugly background and medicore materials dont give justice to the mesh.

this model looks very good for me, nice job with the creases, but for the renders - where is the ground plane?
