Looking quite good. I think I'm going to try my hand at rhino. I tried it out a few days ago, doesn't seem too hard to use, but then again, I was just moving vertices. Keep us updated

Like, responses!
Thanks everyone, guesss its time to answer all the questions.

First of all, the car is for a customer. He didnt really want a porsche and i didnt feel like pursuading him.

Surface is smooth because I remake it until its smooth enough. The track is default material + texture on diffuse channel. The texture is 6000x4000 or so. I set filtering mode to 'None' - saves on memory and makes texture sharper. Now the texture i made myself from two textures i found on google. First one is www.absolutetextures.com/road026.jpg]this one[/url] and second one is this one. What i did is scale the first pic 200%, tile the second pic, and blend both using Overlay mode. Looks decent.

I'd share the psd but rar'ed its 95mb and unrared its 205mb, so no sharing.

The quarterpanel on this car was crafted by the devil himself. I spent countless hours just figuring out how to make it.

First operation is Sweep2, second one is Trim..... super easy.

The headlights are stock, after all - this is the 2006 version!

Now with the images...
I know my surfaces are messy (especially the ****ing fender  ), but its my first real car in rhino, so keep that in mind

That is.. wow.. tremendously good!!
You may be aware of it, but there is a little flap sticking out on the rear pillar.

The words 'Great work' would be a terrible understatement, but each time you leave me speechless, so great work anyhow. heh

There not that messy, a couple of areas could be cleaned up, but otherwise looks real nice.

Stop chasing the stars; just sit down and watch TV.

Yes, I did realize it was nurbs, it still looks like it could use a lot of cleanup to me though.
