Starting a new project. . I've decided to do a concept as usual, but this time very realistic one. The goal of the project is to create a car which appears that it can be or already is produced.

Here are some sketches which i made today. They are conceptual and very qiuckly done(about 2min each) just for ideas.

I Hope to have an update soon.

Great start, you clearly follow a design education right?
Though it's your concept the back looks like that ugly Renault, maybe you could do something else with that

Looks a bit like a van crossed with a limo.. So it's a luxury peoplecarrier..
and... i hate it... Sorry, but it just looks like somebody said "Well, let's just say that a very tall person needs his headspace, so how about we make it so, tall, it looks silly?"
I really admire your talent, in both 3D, designing and conceptual drawings, but i just don't like this concept. However, concept drawings are always a bit "distorted" (dunno what to call it), so maybe it's gonna look completely different than I expected when you start doing it So, I'm actually looking forward to seing how this progresses.

BTW., are you completely done with the Concept Truck?

Hmm. some of the sketches are very nice. we could talk about design and class of your beemer but not at the moment...its too soon.

You have problems drawing rear wheels/end... some designers used to draw eliptical rear wheels like on your sketches but not on this phase of the project. What you need now is to draw bit more accurate sketches where you will understand your project! hope you get me.

anyway, nice start and keep up the good work!

all the best
Filip

I know that i don't draw my wheels wrong. :?  I use what is called a fisheye perspective. It is a perspective that makes the car look much rounder. And second of
all any designer will tell you that first sketches aren't perfect in porportions or perspective. After that comes markers sketches than full renderings.( type of drawing.)As for understanding my project i have done other sketches which i wasn't going to share for the fact that i didn't want everybody to know what the car looks like. But i have added one just to show everybody what i will be trying to make. More realistic perspective aswell. The wheels will change i don't really like them. Done in about 25 mins.

As i am only a first year student my design education includes drawing cars for about 1 month. drawing cubes, sphers and cilinders, sthraigh lines, circles and ovals for 6 months.(i'm good at spelling  ) So pretty much no design education.

I have some work to do on the rear according to you guys so a shall get to it.

The concept truck is not finished or done, maybe i shall continue on it in the future.

P.S: I know that a Bmw sports car or something like that would interest more of you but thats not what designers do all the time. So hopefully i can get the same "interest" no matter what car i model.

Next update; i shall start the body.

agreed the rear currently needs work but that could just be the style of drawing otherwise Looking Good cant wait to see the first renders.
