Ah okay. I checked that video. Looks quite neat tool . Maybe I will buy Rhino 4.0 licence when its finished but at the moment when I'm just hobbyist I'm quite happy with my old 2.0(without free updates I would be still using 1.0 :lol.

Sorry no update this time. I have been too lazy to model ops:

Some progress...

I bended the side more in but I think that its still not quite how it should be but I'm too lazy to start rebuilding whole side so I will keep it like it's now.

Porsche 944 Turbo

Hello again! Beautiful work so far! Keep at it... looks great!

Oh and about changes between the 944 Turbo and the Turbo S and newer 944 Turbo's. They ARE different! Not so much the body... more the engine, suspension, wheels, and brakes.

 The 1988 Turbo S and 1989-1991 944 Turbo's have the more powerful 250hp engine called the M44/52. The regular pre-1988 944 Turbo's have the M44/51 engine that have 220hp. They produced the regular 220hp 944 Turbo's from 1985-1981985 only in Europe). After the 1988 run of the "special edition" 250hp 944 Turbo S model's, they got rid of the old 220hp 944 Turbo and kept all of the changes from the Turbo S for all 944 Turbo's produced after 1988. Then in 1989, they renamed them back to just the "944 Turbo". Thats why you dont see any 1989-1991 944 Turbo S's.

 The 1988 Turbo S's and 1989-1991 Turbo's came with a larger turbocharger (K26-70), larger 4-piston brakes (from 928 S4), a factory limited slip differential, anti-lock brakes, 16" machined disc wheels (F: 7", R: 9"), a stiffened torque tube, stiffened torsion bars, stiffened anti-sway bars, and adjustable Koni shock absorbers. They do 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 5.4 secs and had a top speed of 161 mph.

I hope thats not too hard to understand. The only real difference you can actually see in the Turbo S's and newer 944 Turbo's is the 7 spoke flat finish wheels opposed to the telephone dials of the earlier turbos. They look alot like the 944 S2's so make sure you check before assuming that its a 944 Turbo or Turbo S.

Heres some pics of the different years:

1988 944 Turbo S:

1989 944 Turbo:

1990 944 Turbo (not stock, as you can see):

1991 944 Turbo:

Well there ya go. I hope this help's you in your modeling! The better you know the car your makin, the better your model will come out!

RB25DET_S14Zenki, Thanks for all that info . I think I dont model those original rims because they look quite boring . Dont know yet what kind rims I will do.

Some test renderings to see how it looks like .

Almost all filleting done now. I used several hours filletin those damned front fenders(well of course just one because the other is just mirrored) :?. They were quite tricky.

Reflections in Rhino surfaces looks perfect...

But IMHO there is few modeling flaws.

green - shape is wrong
light blue - edge should be less pronounced
red - there is something strange - but maybe it should stay - I don't know
light orange - this edge should be less edgy - mayby try too fillet it more.

Render is very good

EDIT: Sorry, pic attached now...

Marqus, too late.
Those bugs are nearly damn impossible to fix at this point.

Yeah you are right. But like majestic said they are very hard to fix at this stage .
That spot you circled with red looks wrong because low export settings. It should be better with better settings.
I will see what I can do to those mistakes but I'm pretty sure that nothing can be done at this stage .

With this wip stage and low export settings it was about 200 000 polys in 3dsmax.
