as the title says, this truck was made entirely without any blueprints, i built it off alot of pictures and memory. its a 1995 Kenworth W900

its just the cab hood and grille for now, but it will look something like the red truck below, only different customizations, positive and negative comments welcome (need to know if the wireframe is OK)

the whole mess of wireframe in the grille is the little bars, there is only 6 polys per bar, but their so close it makes it look like a mess

Sweet my favorite Peterbuilt design, The Caddilac of the Truckworld, so Ive heard them called. SO far it looks great, however I'll wait for further work before I can give a better feedback

^update is done, this is a Kenworth btw, not Peterbilt, and yes, kenworth is noted for being the caddillac of big trucks

drastically reduced poly count, did sleeper and frame, (check out the current level of detail), and also the wireframe in the next reply

the black with chrome bolts is the front rear axle of the truck

wow, got ALOT of stuff done, i still cant do the air cleaners (on the side of the cab) because i dont know how to make a screen for them :x

but i did rims, smokestacks, rear fenders, and some other random junk, check it out

You should look into importing it into one of those trucking games like 18 Wheels Of Steel or Hardtruck. Man I love 18 Wheels of Steel Pedal To The Metal... your truck would go great in it!

OMG, damn man, i am THE master at modding that game, i have countless trucks already made for it and trailers alike. plenty and lots of other non-truck custom stuff i made, i didnt even think anyone here knew about that game, you should check out some of the truck game forums

Yeah... I discovered the magical world of Truck Sim's in like 1996 when I got this game for Mac that you drove across America delivering goods. It was cool... then I got Hard Truck... then I d/l'ed 18 WOS PTTM and it was awesome! But yeah... the only problem is I can’t seem to get my Logitech Driving Force Pro Wheel to work with it so I’m kinda sad. I really wanted to try out the Force Feedback and the 900 degree rotation on a BIG RIG! :twisted: :roll: I was trying to mod the game yesterday but I kinda got lost on how to install everything. I’m too lazy to really focus and find out where everything goes so I just kinda gave up. ops: .

But nice progress on the truck! Are you gonna make a trailer for it? Keep it up... looks great!
