[Rhino] Bugatti lemans Concept : Coming to Life !

Here's my new project.
It's a bugatti design based on the veyron one.
The dimensions are those of a gallardo.

here are some wire and some clays renders (don't mind the little holes and shading mistakes, its a iges export)

coming next :

- new rear view mirrors
- front lights design
- building part seams
- building interior...
- detailling engine upper part (visible parts, like on the veyron)
c&c welcome

Looks really good. Get some good materials on it and clean up the small little things and you should have something really nice on your hands. The surface work looks excellent, which is often tough to get with all nurbs surfaces.

Love to see you back with a new project.

I think the concept is really looking good. You really add your own creative touch on making surfaces and combining these surfaces to a whole different approach of forming a car. (Hard sentence for me to say in English, so maybe it makes no sense to you )

I just can't imagine myself doing the stuff you do, well maybe with a tutorial like you made but I think it's time for me to really try harder to master Rhino.

Maybe within some decades (or centuries) from now I become half as good as you. Please keep updates coming because I will check this thread a lot.

Greets and all the respect from holland!

Cheers, Tillaart36

Damn! I Love 3d, I'm just not that good at it!

Great modelling, and nice concept. Too bad it looks so much like a gallardo. Hope to see this with mats.

I can't even tell that's based on the Gallardo's dimensions, that kicks ass. Love the design, perhaps even more than the Veyron

Sweet modeling, good idea - but somehow to me it doesnt look attractive. Maybe its the wheels, looks like they came off a volkswagen. :?

thx guys for your kind words.

majestic -> using such wheels is a trick to fill theses big spaces. Like on the Veyron.

anyway here is an update.

- new rear view mirrors : checked
- front lights design : checked (even it's not visible )
- building part seams : checked
- building interior... : not checked
- detailling engine upper part : checked
i used Displacement for the tyres. (home made map )

enjoy and keep commenting.

and a detailed wire of the upper engine./

first material render. Rims material has been tweaked already (last one)

Render time is much longer (hock on rear view because of all these chrome, shiny and glossy parts that compose the engine
tell me what you think guys.
