Hello, just started a tutorial for Alias Studiotools. I didn't do everything exactly as shown in the tutorials, so I hope you like it. I know there are some mistakes, but please be patient, I'm leraning Studiotools:-) The car (nicknamed "the Roadstar") needs some type of headlights and some mirrors and the most important thing: wheels. But hey, I don't want to do this today, need some work for the next days of the week!

It looks more like a pen holder or something to me than a car at the moment. But wheels can change minds and the shape looks very smooth and clean.

Keep modeling.

What a brilliant concept. I love it. Really cannot wait to watch the progress on this. Great colour choice also.

Looks okay
Don't think you can fit much engine and tranny in that small chassis tho'.. Maybe it should be a bit wider and longer

I love the paint and shape, but do something with the rims... (maybe something more "oldshool" )

Heres an update. Changed the rims and fixed bugs with the air intake. Added mirrors and headlights. Maybe I'll add a cockpit with drive-by-wire interface.

When I look at the side view, I know what IMHO this car needs: much bigger wheels Without any wheelarches, just as F1 cars.

I think I would drop the front wheels back a bit so the nose sticks out a touch and, indeed, some slighty larger rear wheels.

Looking bloddy good though.

Ok, I'll make the wheels bigger. And what about a rear wing at the back of the car? By the way, I don't want to add wheelarches, because its a retro racer, and the racers in the thirties hadn't got wheelsarches.

I'd say make the wheels thinner.
Other than that, you've done great with this design!

I really dig the retro meets modern direction you are going with this model. The way the front wheels are attached to the body would make it impossible to turn though. There is no room for those moving part to travel in the body. These old cars did have arches in the body for the suspension travel and alike. As far as the wheels, perhaps consider something with a slight offset.

So here's the latest update: Changed the wheel size and tried some new perspectives. Hope you like it and thanks for your usefull comments. Maybe this is the chance to work for an automotive company as a car designer:-) By the way, I got a name for this one: Roadstar. How is it?

By the way, maybe I add some space for the steering system in front of the car. It's work in progress! And don't forget it's just a concept! And check out this site:
