Hi all
First sorry for my bad english

This subject is here to present you our mod for Gta San Andreas: GTA French Connection
What we want is making Gta San Andreas become a little bit french, but i think you all have understand it

Errr , you don't wan't any Lamborhinis or Hummers , but you are creating BMW M3 , Mazda RX8 and Porsche ? In fact , I know france got lamborghinis and other cars which you can find in other countries tho , but i can't see the reason what the mod is for ? French cars - no. What else?

hum, i live in france and i only seen one or two lamborghini in my life ...
never seen hummer :?
but i seen many rx8, porsche 911 and bmw m3 !

We only want cars wich are in france and that you can see every day, not one time in your life. In Gta same cars appears many times so if we make hummers and you see 5 or 6 in the same street it will not be realistic... i know if you see 5 or 6 porsche in the same street it will not be realistic too but not unreal. That's the reason :wink:

btw : i'm just a 3d modeler of the team, not the boss so i answer you with what i think, maybe not the real reasons :wink:

Quite new cars which you've showed us. Are you planning to do some older cars too? From '80s and 90's

Yes we plan to make some older cars like Renault R21 ( sedan & nevada ), Alpine A610, Nissan 300 zx, maybe a renault 5 ( i will request it ! ) and maybe some others

I like where this mod is going. The cars are really nice, and taking on something like a San Andreas mod seems like quite a big task. I'd be interested in doing a car for it, I was thinking this would give me an excuse to try making a Renaultsport Megane Trophy concept, but it's a concept and I don't think it would fit. Maybe I could do a Renault 5. Oh well, I have several projects going right now, so I don't know if I'll be able to, but if I do I'll let you know.

Hehe i think the renault 5 could be an interesting car for the mod ! I hope we'll got news from you soon

Nice cars you got there, keep up the mod.

But you really need older French cars (or not even French, but still OLDER ones), like Renault 5 (don't forget this one!), Citroen 2CV, Peugeot 205... A French mod won't be that French without these.

Well crap. I started modeling a Renault Alpine A310, but I had to do a Windows recovery and the commands got screwed up, wiped out my whole hard drive so I lost all my projects. I'm trying to get them back, but I might need to get a new hard drive to put the data on. Until then I'm modeling a McLaren F1 GT, and I'm thinking about restarting the Alpine.
