Re: BMW M3 CSL
You should check the tutorial section of this forumn, I posted up a link to some very great VRAY tutorials, they cover lighting, materials, studio render. Not aimed at cars, but they work great for generalising everything. >>http://www.aversis.be/extra_tutorials/00.htm
I recommend going through the studio lighting, so you can get a nice render out, also with materials, check this site >>http://www.evermotion.org/tutorials/...ray_car_paint/ They let you go through the tutorial for the carpaint, or you can dl the car shader library....just scroll down ![]() Let me find the brazil tutorials later todai, if your more comfortable with them, I know I have them bookmarked, but I have no time to look through them all.... (what happens when your too lazy to name your bookmarks ) |

Re: BMW M3 CSL
OK, just got back from church, found the brazil tuts, here we go...
Good tutorial by slutterfish for HDRI lighting and Rendering >> http://www.splutterfish.com/sf/contr...tut/_contents/ A good way to light scenes with brazil, is by using the brazil utility material, using this material on a box or plane above your scene you can light the scene without using GI >>http://www.3dspline.com/Tutorials/Br...azillights.htm Brazils Advanced Car Paint Shader, use this tut to make a nice car paint shader. >>http://www.hello-napalm.com/tuts/brzl_shaders_04.html Hope those help, and gud luck with the renders, sorry I dont think I have one for studio lighting for brazil, but basically suse the utility mat applied to a box above your scene to light everything , gives good results for a studio effect, either that or try out GI. |
