pineapple, I'm using maya with mental ray, and the modelling process is just mainly poly modelling, lots of spiltting and vertex nudging, although to keep the surfaces fair, I use a simple nurbs template for all the main body panels which I use for snapping verts to. I've still got a few wobbly reflections here and there, but you can't have everything I guess.

Mind numbingly detailed, you have my utmost respect for immortalising this classic car. I'd also say that the newer leather texture is better, the old one was /too/ sharp to be considered "realistic".
