thanks for the replys so far, i think i've fixed what you've pointed out so far, except for the front window being to round, i'm not quite sure exactly what you mean. As for the 3d prog, i'm using 3ds max 6. I'm using the default renderer because i don't yet know exactly how to use mental ray that came with it. Thanks again, and keep the comments coming please.

Some edges seem to be a bit messed up so i'll tell you what every beginner is told. Look around the wire, esp. places where you have applied meshsmooth. A lot of times meshsmooth creates triangles in corners and in polymoddeling (3ds max ) triangles = bad.

Also the doorseems could use some better chamfering.

Good luck on the rest of the car.

Oliver

I've updated my car

I've stopped modelling for a few days, i was getting frustrated with this car, so i spent a few days playing around with some materials and some renders. i know i've got a lot of work to do with this model, but critiques and comments are welcome. Thanks

I finally finished the headlights. Next step is the logo on the front, then i'll finish the back. let me know what you think.

P.S. ignore the windshield, there is way to much refraction. i need to tone it down.

Well not tone it down, the windsheild has no refraction, it should be set at IOR - 1.00

take a look at what i've circled....the spot on the left looks like it needs to be smoothed out, the other one looks like it might be uneven, or just the way the wheels turned?
