Yesterday I decided to model a SLR (After being inspired by Jintonic's SLR, tnx ). I pretty soon found out that this is one b*tch of a car to model :X

Anyways, here is the first wip.

Could be some kind of shading, but it looks like you've got a sharp edge behind the rearlight.
Kick ass start though!!

lovely start. i see that SLR is very popular here. Since we have many SLRs around i suggest that somebody (you Chester if interested) could make concept SLR rather then production version. IMO concept looks far more better and still not so much different. here are couple of pics of concept SLR...
(take a look at side intake and position of doors when opened. front spoiler is also different and ofcourse rear end..)

Which rearlight? The edges on the hood are too sharp too btw, will fix those.

I think I'm gonna continue making the stock version, since I've downloaded about 255 reference pics and studied the stock version. Maybe I'll just change those parts later when the I've finished the stock version

looks good, but shouldnt the middle hole (for the emblem) be a perfect circle, looks like egg shaped, unless its the picture
