Re: Mazda 6 WIP

Hey SlaYa
it's not what I meant . maybe I misexplain it . I have add a pic .
first the two line in the pic shouldn't pass to the door . ( even if it would have fixed it , it won't be right modeling )
second to fix it I would start building the polys in the side view than moving it in the top view . check that the " mess" it's not becasue some
poly "went" in or something like that .

Re: Mazda 6 WIP

Thanks!

I have a quick question, what's the best way to find bumps in your model?
I have some bumps in the back of my model which I can only see from some angle's, with certain textures so it's hard to fix them when at times they seem perfectly fine and at other times are really messed up?

Re: Mazda 6 WIP

Ahh, spent more than a hour trying to fix this problem, and I got it 100 times better than what it was before but I still can't get it perfect.. If anyone notices anything obviously wrong please let me know, I wan't to fix this.

By the way, if you didn't notice the problem is that it is very bumpy..

Thanks

I think I just lost my newer files for this project, I still have the OLD ones where all I had was part of the front done.. If i'm mistaken and didn't lose the file I will continue with the project otherwise I don't wan't to do most of this over

Re: Mazda 6 WIP

You wan't to know what's wrong with that front wheel arch? Have a good look at the polys surrounding it. Theres a rather large 3 sided poly there. Meshsmooth and 3 sided polys don't add up. Try different ways to model that part without polys and you'll find the solutin too.

Great model overall, esp for a third model. My first 5-6 models looked like a big piece of deformed metal. Practice makes perfect you know. Just don't give up.

There's a folder in the main directory of max called autoback. There should be backup files of your latest project there. Max should automatically do saves after a certain amount of time.

Re: Mazda 6 WIP

oO shiiyyaaaaat thanks so much OJ, I didn't know about the autoback..

Well, now that I have the file again, I can try the 4 sided poly for the wheel arc..

Thanks again.
