Re: Project Supra

Thanks *RedStar** * -* I won't show any wires* , no special reason*

Thanks Wrx* - hope you started doing some learning*

haven't much time to work on he texturing so no update on that . so I'll show my Nemesis progress
some word on it : I wanted to keep the supra look and not to do a massive tunnig ,
some parts may change as I progress ,
if you look at the door you will understand how they will open - and don't worry I'll fix that " bump "

Looking pritty nice yourself. But what i dislike are the rearlights for some reason, and just speaking for myself here but there so hard to make even tho they seem so fu*king simple :x

yep... those lights are quite inaccurate. i have also found out that those "early type" rearlights are bit tricky to model, while "late type" rearlight are easy to do. (see pic of late type lights below)

Re: Project Supra

Thanks sesim : maybe it's quite a late reply for you , but better late than never .
if you want to do some complicated texturing , go to 3dtotal.com and look for "SL500 Texturing and Lighting" by Simon
Reeves tutorial . in the tutorial section . - he use texporter - it's free plug in for max ( just google up and you'll find it )
but if you just want to make a simple strip decal on your car just put a mask in the diffuse slot and have a texture with
the alpha map and you done for it . hope it help you .

found some time to work on the model again , I still miss some decals on it cuz I couldn't figure up some small decals and there
aren't a lot of ref of this car on the net - and that's bugs me :x ,
when I'll figure them out I'll add them
I couldn't render all the car (wheel etc .... ) cuz I running some heavy application on my comp' and they eating my memory
but as soon as I can I'll render the whole car , for now it's looks like a rc shell kit

Re: Project Supra

well ....I thought I would have to go deeper to search my topic . glad it was near

well.. this render I done while back but hadn't showed it .it just a test render with wheels on . no interior so window are black
and still some decals are missing and there is a small mistake , but something you wouldn't notice in a first glance .

revelli : there are some other ref pic that the color is more dark red , but it's true that I decided to make it a little bit more redish
than it should be for some reason .
