Re: Project Supra

Hi Doch,

lovely model, very nice details...I want you (or anyone else who reads this) ask a little question:

You made your splinecage in the first few pics...And then you start modelling...Is this modelling polymodelling and do you use the splinecage only as a reference? Or is there some other way? Or do you maybe know any good tutorials that handle about your way of working? Because I really love the results...

Keep it up!!!

Greets Joop

Damn! I Love 3d, I'm just not that good at it!

Re: Project Supra

Thanks patient1 *

*o.j it's the monotype corsiva font .

Thanks tillaart36 , it is polymodeling with some other method , the 3d cage is used as a guideline , and it have some other
use for me , look for another work here of a supra that explain this method , I think it's yurriXXX work .
he also done a tutorial about this .

*finished the rear diffuser , you don't much see it in the pic , but it's there . some more little details to be added
*and soon the hard work begins .... - texturing * .

Re: Project Supra

thanks guys*

The nice thing doing a race car is that you can do a soft racing wheel for it . ( cut me some polies* )
when I start texturing it , I'll probably add more dirt and stuff .

Re: Project Supra

Looks hot! What's that white line on the side of the tire? Is that the render or is the tire not attached?

Re: Project Supra

I like, hehe yellow rim haha i know its just temp

Im not feeling that red though on the body, its weird for a race race....but even though you see it on some cars, like the xanavi and motul pitowrks skyline it just doesnt suit the supra, i think the black and white supras are the best lookin supergt ones out racing right now.

Re: Project Supra

Isn't your brake rotor kinda too small, cause rotors on JGTC cars barely fit inside the wheels I have a pic of a jgtc nsx rotor laying around somewhere, i can post it here if you want. Great work nonehteless 8o
