1969 Boss 429

Some of you guys might remember the '69 Boss 302 I did a little while ago; this is going to be basically a reworked version of that.

Hoping to be able to put it in GTA SA when I'm finished, so it's getting the full treatment. Getting close to finishing off the engine and then I'll fill out the engine bay and work down the driveline.

Just leave the lights as they are, there's nothing to do 3D-ish about it Looks great.

Got the engine bay done now. I think I'm gonna do the trunk and doors before the transmission and driveline though.

About finished with the modelling portion of this puppy. Poly count for everything except wheels is 16104. I was suprised to see it that low after all the detail I put in.....but I still have to do suspension and driveline so it should grow by a healthy amount. :mrgreen:

Got the suspension done. All that's left to model it the gas tank and the tranny and driveshaft.

Poly count has jumped to 26078, although most of that is the wheels which are 1934 a piece. :roll: The final tally should be well under 30k.

And yes, I plan on making it available to the public once I finish it.

Helps a bunch to have a model that i can look at from every concievable angle. :mrgreen: (even if it is a 1970, but close enough)

Any who.....pretty much done with the modelling. Just have to do the crossmember for the transmission and the damaged parts. Hopefully there will be an export filter for zmod/zmod2 by the time I figure out GTA materials and hierarchy. :roll:

Poly count is 27987 for everything.

Got most of the mapping and texturing done. Just need to fiddle with a few small areas and then she's ready to go (hopefully). Just gotta wait till a filter for zmod comes out now.
