newbi in 3dstudio - audi project

Hei all

Have been checking this forum for a while, and I have to say that its great

I have just startet with 3d studio and done alot of tutorials, and now I just startet my own project (finally) its an audi, so here it is. Im have startet to fix up the front now, so its alot of work ahead, but just started som som detail, after i made the basic shape.

You overdid the chamfering of the edges a little, and is the bottom of the front bumper supposed to be connected like that. Assuming it is the A3, im not an expert.
Check this

I hope my audi turns out that good. Im doing an A8 (first time)

Looks like a nice model
Not too accurate and some weird spots, but it definately doesn't look bad! Keep it up

Her are som more updates

done som more bodywork, clean some verts and so, still modifying the body. kinda hard though. anyway..here is with a test grill modeling. hope u like it

Quick question, on the front how did you get the segment between the lights extruded correctly. Im redoing my A8 completely and last time it never came out as nicely.

I did it a couple times, but i never got a satisfactory result, had weird edges and crap.

ah...I see. I extruded it first negativ, then did a copy of the extruded polys to a new object, extruded those and put them in to place, then you can attach dem to the rest if you want, remember to chamfer the edges
