First Model, Audi A8 --Second Attempt--

This is my first model, after skimming over the tutorials i decided to make one, it came out somewhat decent. What do you think? Its not done (grill, wheels, body details,etc.) but im thinking about dumping this and starting my next project. I want try modelling with Nurbs, so if you know of any nurbs tutorials for max, help a brother out.

I redid the model from the ground up. I think it looks better in some areas. What do you think

I'm glad to see you didn't give up after the first try. The model looks great, you could work on the wheels a bit though.

The wheels are just place holders, just so it looks more complete. I kinda did giveup on my first model too, i destroyed everything and redid every single part.

Minor update, fixed little things, added some crappy wheels + rims. Mostly fixed the side under the door, it was horrible. Minor adjustments to the front and overall appearance. If your wondering why there are no back shots it's because it still looks the same from when I first model it and havent touched it yet. I do like the overall look of the car though and suggestions would help me greatly.

good job friend.. the car shape looks good overall.. but you'll need chamfer some areas..

see some real car pics and you'll see that some parts of your model are a lil rounded.

Yeah i know, around the wheel arches, sections above the door, under the lights etc. I have huge 16x12 ref pics but have not looked at them in a while, ive been refining sections that i cant stand. Although lately I havent had much time to work on it and i try to make it look generally like a complete car then refine it. (so i dont get discourage working on something for hours and just have a front body) I suppose in time i will model that way, but that just seems to much hassle at the moment.
