It looks great, but you could improve your renders

Re: Chevrolet SSR

yep, you should post the link for the tutorial
as mentioned NE, you should spent more time on the render
hehe, and other one who use the 3D spline cage, this technik is going to be very popular

Re: Chevrolet SSR

Here's a simple scene, if you want.. Just make sure to add a reflectionmap to the materials ("ray traced + sphericle map")
If it sais "groundplane.lwo can't be found", search for it.

Manually add your car

Splinecages -- daring modeling. 8o

Check the roof, it seems there is a small depression on each side, maybe you have to tweak the Beziers.

And of course improve the renders. Try deeper carpaints.

Re: Chevrolet SSR

It's not welded properly.. Select all middle points, press ^v (ctrl+v), choose X axis, and mirror it again..
If that doesn't work, V (shift+v), then press n, and check if "weld points" is on

Looks lovely though!

Re: Chevrolet SSR

thx Nighteye. all parts on the car for eg. hood, rear/front feneders are separated from eachother but they are still in same layer. so if i merge points when i mirror the whole car i get points merged that i dont want to merge. so i need to mirror every singel part by my self. so i was lazy and didnt merg on last render hope you understand what i just wrote

here is a new update, done the truck bed.
