CLK-GTR

Hi @ll, here is my newest project. I have some problems with the doorline! It is only a testrender! The frontbumper of the second pic is not correct... I´ll fix it!

c&c welcome

Re: CLK-GTR

Nice clean work

Mesh looks very smooth, especially like the seams

Looking forward to some renders

Re: CLK-GTR

Seems are too soft.. Try a lower chamfer setting

Re: CLK-GTR

chamfer with 0.1 , thats always good for a sharp edge, if it a little to strong, which i doubt try 0.15 or even 0.2 dont go much higher..especially for part seams such as door to body cause those are meant to be sharp as hell.

Re: CLK-GTR

Still the seam is not right , it's not a bout the chamfer , you didn't made them right .
and there is some inaccuracy in your model , look at the pics

but it's look good so far

Re: CLK-GTR

I'm totally braindead about cars, so correct me if I'm wrong, but is that cut in the middle of the bumper supposed to be there?

Re: CLK-GTR

@French, ofcourse not, he just didn't weld it properly

Seams are much better now! Though they are - as mentioned - not too accurate.
