Re: :: Porsche 911 [ 996 ] ::
Well, it looks, like the line dividing spoiler into two parts is too flat. Compare with the refpics made from the side. And it's time for the wires...

Re: :: Porsche 911 [ 996 ] ::
You starts to ask too much, but here you have.
Sidevent mesh looks very messy, but after meshsmooth it looks good. |

Re: :: Porsche 911 [ 996 ] ::
Yes, the mesh is clean, but I can spot several weird places.
And it will become much more messy if you will try to be more accurate, because there are several places, that won't be accurate with this "clean" polyplacement ![]() |

Re: :: Porsche 911 [ 996 ] ::
herez some r more of headlights, i turned specular on high to show if there are any
bumps, because specular is usually the best way to see bumps and bugs.... and please comments, i had 2 updates for like 3 days and no comments ![]() |

Re: :: Porsche 911 [ 996 ] ::
1. shape of the headlights is still off. Check refpic that was posted earlier to this thread (view directly from the front) - bigger part of the headlight should look like a circle from the front, you've got ellipse.
2. inside of the headlight is wrong. Check attached refpics (and maybe wires in my porsche thread )3. dont forget about side intake ![]() |

Re: :: Porsche 911 [ 996 ] ::
good details and clean wire... just keep modeling... you'll get the headlights right, if you work hard on them... they're not that difficult to model.
Good luck! ![]() ![]() Every object in motion stays in motion until it runs out of gas, needs a taco or something... [Current WIP]: Lamborghini Murciélago [WIP]Porsche 911 Turbo (996) - TechArt Formula |
