New Project - Porsche Carerra GT: New renders added

Took a break from modeling to mess with some textures and HDRI's. These are just quick renders at low quality settings, however critiques are welcome. I just started a new job, so progress is going slow.

I love the materials
But the rubber can use some work.. Material-wise, but also modeling-wise.. It's too big, and too dull

Yeah, you're right nighteye. I disconected my tire shader and displacement map for the treads as they take ages to render even at low settings. I was hoping noone would notice

Thanks for the pic XSImatrix. I've never gotten around to buying a Tamiya kit to use as another reference, but I can see how it would be very help. I've been keeping an eye on your GT progress. By the way, where did you get that nice road texture, or is it home made?

Check the textures section on this forum, theirs a post with a link to another site that you must register and dl their full 2200+ resolution image.

not that this has to do with any of your modeling which is awsome, but i can't help but notice how akward it must be to drive a stick that is that high up and far forward. . talk about pulling your punches.

A few more low quality renders. I'll start doing some high quality renders once I finally finish all the modeling.
