ferrari enzo

im pretty new to 3ds max and this is the farthest ive goten on a car so far, i just made up my own way of doing it cuz all the tutorials i read made no sence and confused me. so far ive worked for like 10 hours, i dont know if thats good or bad but o well. ive been haveing some troble trying to do the back, ive tryed it like 4 diffrent times but it still keeps on turning out bad, but one of these times ill get it right.
this is all that i have so far, pretty basic right now but maby tomaro ill fell like trying to do the back again. also i added the zip of it so if you feel like messing with it go a head.also i added the file if someone feels like messing with it.

Re: ferrari enzo

wow thanks for the replys, here is the zip again, hope this one works for you . probaly the main reson why it looks god is the mesh smoothener but here is a biger render with and with out the smoothener. its kinda messed up in the front corner, but ill mess with it later.
the 1st pic is with smoothener and the 2nd is with out.

Re: ferrari enzo

hmm thiers alot of work still needed to be done on this mode, and their seems to be alot of bumps, and sharp corners.

Also, if the meshsmooth is screwing up your model , that is because your poly flow is not correct, make sure you have even surfaces throughout your model, keeping 4 side polies, 3 if needed, and never 5 or more.

Re: ferrari enzo

yup i would say preety good is just about right for a beginner.

No worries man, take your time, as I said before, make sure you keep away from 5 sided polies or higher, since they cant be subdivided(smoothed out) properly.
