Ok, some progress...
I've replaced the standard hood with a custom one, plus hood pins.

Just don't forget the pins through the hood, to make the hoodpins really work

Hmmm... actually, i don't know how the pins works.... so if you can tell me how it looks when it's locked it
will be great.
Anyway, some first renders.

Very nice! I like front bumper. Nice design.

You can see the actual pin comes through the bonnet and the bar slides through it. The ring then folds over the top as you've shown to lock it in place.

The actual pin mounts directly onto a chassis member within the engine bay.

It's quite simple
There's a metal bar through the hood (green), with a pin through it (blue), and a ring (red) to make sure that pin doesn't leave the bar.
