LowPoly 350z, Gallardo and F430

I spoke with the person who is responsilbe for Car licences of one car brand. And hi said me, that it doesn`t matter, if you are making money from the game or not! ... it`s only, that the freeware games and game mods .. these are (mainly) made some by some group of people and not a company which could be sued, and the car manufacturers are letting it be.. but by the law.. you have licence from them ..

If you spoke with someone person resposible for car licencing, and he told you something else, .. just tell me.. but do not tell me No way.. if you haven`t spoken with anyone.

A while ago, we were planning on making a game (to buy online), and to be able to use real cars we needed a license.. But since that cost way too much, we decided to make it a free game.. The leader of that game had spoken to someone like you've spoken too, and he was told that can be done without license if we were using their names and no made up ones..
Perhaps this differs from country to country, but that's what I know about it...

Anyway, as you said, they let it be, so please put them in rFactor once that's possible

upgrade on Gallardo. the model is now about 95% complete. Will just tweak some vertices to look it more real
and then I`ll start with texturing.

I do not know now,.. If I`ll start with 350z or Gallardo

I`ve decided to add fins on the hood and on the rear body. It looks much better now and the triangle count is still below 3500 .. (actualy it is 3429)...

so it seems, that I`ll start with texturing on gallardo. The 350z is 500triangles less.. so I`ll have to add some more there

added smoothgroups and model is ready for texturing ... :roll: I was looking on to texturing.. and now, when it stands in front of me.. I don`t have energy to start it... I don`t like the unwraping...

I`ll post here the way how I work on texturing.. and hope that you`ll like it

Brilliant! Although it is a little late, I have plenty of high res pictures from when I made my Gallardo, so if you ever need some, let me know and I will see what I can find.
Great work and excellent use of polies on both meshes; looking forward to the next pictures!

T-Shine: I will surely use some highres images of detailes (like headlights, rearlights) ... it only depends, if you downloaded them from the internet (where there is a chance I allready have many of them) or you photo it yourself which would be great

it`s a lowpoly.. 3532 faces (triangles) in total :roll: so I guess it is a lowpoly
