skyline low poly

this is my first low poly car, i am still working on my eclipse. any tips and tricks for modeling low poly would greatly apperichated.

oh man, it really looks like your first lowpoly
i see, that many polies can be removed, like on the grill or on window
try to use sometimes triangels, well i use them very usually
and try to use meshsmoothing groups, it really help to smooth the mesh

yea, their are way to many polies for a low poly car, cut some edge lops from your model, especially on the front inbetween the lights, the door, and the hood.

i cut down a lot on the polys, but it made the mesh a bit messier.

when I`m looking on your model.. one question came up my mind?

are U using blueprints? bucouse in my oppinion, it seems that they`re not used in developing this model

i will post an up date later today.
NightEye: i will add some of those polys back
nosalis: i am using blueprinst... there not fo the usal skyline r34. its the r30. so its an older version but i think that is looks better.

pineapple , sorry to say but it doesn't look good . try to model by the line of your blueprint . thinks where you can hide
or use less polies by texturing and where to put more details by adding more polies .
and remember you can always delete polies in the end .

( it's not meant to make you down , but encourage you to make it better )
