Re: Subaru, Import Tuning Contest

Shark amplifier for the speakers... woofers will get a separate amp*

I'm running out of fun things to do so looks like I have to start the boring stuff like opening the doors etc*

Edit: forgot the attachment

Re: Subaru, Import Tuning Contest

Wow, Cool modeling man,
What kind of engine mods will it have?
Mid mounted V8?

Keep it up, and good luck in the contest.

Re: Subaru, Import Tuning Contest

Thanks

I was actually thinking of putting a V8 in there but then I decided i wanted it to have a big tv etc in there so no big engine mods this time... the original engine is under the front seats (i think) so no one would be able to see it anyway.

Trying to figure out an opening mechanism for the back doors atm, it's driving me crazy since I don't just want to whip something up (I want to make a mechanism that could work irl) :x Oh well, it's my own fault since I made the body kit

Anyways, updates are on their way as soon as I figure out the doors...

Re: Subaru, Import Tuning Contest

@SlimyStrike: Why not? I had another idea too last night... How about something like Impreza engine in the center of the car, under the floor... there could be a plexiglass window on the floor so that the passengers could see the engine as they hold on to their dear life? Let's see if my comp can handle it after I have done everything else first, but I think that could be kinda cool...

@rallydriver: thanks dude, and the details just keep coming

@Honda117: I had that one in mind too, but I don't have enough room to put it in... I'll put in two or three slighly smaller ones instead

Oh btw I have a plan for the door mechanism, hopefully I get it done tonight

Re: Subaru, Import Tuning Contest

Yep, it does, and the car is already 4WD...

Ummm... wires of what? Here's wires for the body and a clay render... I know there's some problems in both of them, but I'll fix it. Feel free to point out any mistakes tho, I'm sure I haven't even noticed them all yet

Here's what I have noticed: i will redo the front corner (around the front lights), pinching problems near the rear where the lines on the body end. I will also propably remake the back bumper into a bit different style so that the exhausts fit better. Sorry had no time to make the doors tonight, better luck tomorrow i hope

Re: Subaru, Import Tuning Contest

Been a while since I had time to work on this, not too much free time lately Small update tho, made some windows, also the inner parts of the doors are ready, just need to make them open. Never mind the paint it's just temp, I have a better one made already, but it takes ages to render so I use this for quick renders.

More (bigger) updates coming soon, thanks for watching
