Looks very nice! But your renders would be a little brighter?

Re: Bugatti (Style Concept) - Test Renders

their are some bumps, like on the rear wheel arc close to the blinker, aand some other small bumps(maybe due to 3sided poly)

Materials lack realism and lighting is quite poor. But I love the idea and concept, reminds me of RainKnights bugatti.mmmmm rainknight

About bumps: i think it's due to mesh conversion from rhino to max
about materials? 3 white planes on top, side and back emitting GI multiplier 0.5 each one + skylight for lighting, plus glossy reflections on black paint. "no glossy refls" materials + much more lighting will do the job better? I'll try.

Any other guess?

Re: Bugatti (Style Concept) - Test Renders

yeea, increase the multipliers a bit, should do the trick with brightness, black isnt the best for cars its hard to see details and sometimes the reflection reallly show the bumps more than a light colour, try a dark colour like a dark red, blue, green, or try silver? I think they would all look nice.

Re: Bugatti (Style Concept) - Test Renders

Is this your concept = You don't have references? If you got references plz post them, easier to crit the model. Put up some high resolution pics and it's even easier.
I agree with you guys the paint doesen't look realistic. To me it's look like the paint is dull. When I use brazil I don't use global illumination and therefor don't have to worry about the multiplayers on the white planes. Though you might whant the effect of GI. The reflections are to dark (I belief it coz the low value on the multipliers).
I like the design, it's cool, give us some front, left, back and top view. A perspective from the front will be appreciate it. Give us some pure c & c pictures (light, a skylight will do fine. Some closeup views on details you think is important and some distance shots).
I think I have located some flaws in the mesh, though I don't know because I haven't see the car
Keep the good work.

Re: Bugatti (Style Concept) - Test Renders

I started referring to Bugatti Veyron blueprints in order to define the main shape curves.
Then i've removed blueprints and started making surfaces (in Rhino) and then detailing on my own.
Sincerely i don't like so much the front of original Veyron but i love the back. So u'll se a completely different hood. I'm a design entusiast so i followed my mind and nothing else.
In this weekend i'll render new views, so i'll post something new on monday.
Here u r some Rhino Views.

Thanks
Bye

Re: Bugatti (Style Concept) - Test Renders

I dont know how to read/understand rhino wires, but I like the amount of detail already put in the interior and Im sure it will look good when rendering. Are you going to make a convertible version?

Re: Bugatti (Style Concept) - Test Renders

Actually, interiors are not finished yet. I have to finish the doors to make them open and some other details related to central console and seats.
Yes, i'll make a convertible version..but know i'm concentrating on max renderings.

Re: Bugatti (Style Concept) - Test Renders

Wellcome back...
Made some new renders using Vray.
The model is almost complete. Grills are modelled.
Scene settings: 1 Vray Light + 1 White Refl plane (with VrayLightMap applied).
