Jeep Liberty 2005

Hi,

as I'm really bored with Citroen C1 and Citroen C4 (with Ckeri) I started another project - Jeep Liberty this time, little different than popular tuned evos and supras in this forum, but still I hope you'll like it. Personally I like SUVs and offroaders, so it's my second vehicle of this kind (first: Jeep Grand Cherokee 2005). C&C are welcome.

Btw both: modeling and rendering made with lightwave

cheers

Seraph

Good one. I see that it is modeled in Lightwave, isnt it? Keep it up.

@Bumari: He even said so

One comment on the material.. Either use a Fresnel shader for reflection, or add a gradient (indicent angle) to the reflection T slot. It looks a bit.. plain
EDIT: For the chrome, put the diffusion down to about 40%.. it's a bit light

Nice start though, and nice to see a fellow LW-er

Re: Jeep Liberty 2005

thx guys,

Bumari - yep - LW7, only tool I have enough patience for...

Night Eye - you're right, there is no fresnel / incidence angle yet - it's only test for smoothness, that chrome settings... for head lights... yess.. weird but there is diffuse = 0 (luminosity too) I'll try to make it once again, but I'm affraid it's bump map fault, it's amplitude is rather huge
BTW there is white background, white ground and black invisible wall around the car (for reflection).
lt.knysha - well, I believe you didnt use lightwave and it's subdivision tool yet. Those 'bugs', as you called them, are just effects of this tool, but don't worry - it's a start, only couple of hours of work, corners and edges will be sharpen, you'll see

thanks for comments

cheers

Seraph
