Fiat Punto 5-Door 2005 - Serious help needed!

Hi guys, after years of attempting to model, some sucessful some not. I've decided i want to really attempt to make a car. One of my favourite cars to be honest. I am using the blueprints on this page:

http://www.smcars.net/forums/index.php?topic=4830.0

But, as always, when i start to model everything is out of proportion which makes everything go wrong. Here is what my work so far is like but as you can see, i've came to an hault, i'm stuck because of the blueprints. They are the only blueprints i found for the car i want to do.* :'(

No matter how many tutorials i've tried, i can never get going with my blueprints. I've tried many cars it's always the same.

It is my dream to get a car which i love finished so i can try putting it in games like San Andreas etc. Any help you could give me would be fantastic! It would be helpful if i could speak to you in person. My msn is: dan.the.great@hotmail.co.uk

I'm not new to the aspects of 3d, i've been doing 3d level design for several years but i would love to get going with cars, i've been trying for years now.

Move your front blueprint to match the top of the hood then move the polys down to match the other prints

Nice start you got there. I'd say add one polyrow to hood.

Too bad you didn't do the new Punto. It's much better looking than the old one

I think there is no perfect blueprints, so this is the reason why you need lots of ref pics! I´m working with ´65 Mustang and my blueprints are something mix of ´64, ´65 and ´68...  Good start, just add some more polies to hood and wheelarch... Just like FlashG says, add one polyrow to hood

nice to see another c4d user on here, looks like a nice start there, yeh i think you will need another poly row in the hood keep it up, c4d can be a paint sometimes when making the panels thick, also hard to get a perfectly smooth mesh. Keep those in check and you'll make for a great car modeler

I'd say use less polies. Mesh wouldn't be so hard to control. Good start though
