.. Quick mirror and NO blueprints still unaccurate n stuff, baad angels, just two quick renders so u can critt a bite ... Still need headlight help ![]() |

As soon as everything is done i will weld it in the middle... I think this is all that i have left:
1. Side mirrors 2. Door handle 3. Front Headlights 4. Rear Headlights 5. Side blinker 6. License plate anything i forgot??? |

Hehe, okej here goes : i found the best pic of an audi tt i could on the internet (frem sortof behind) cut out the rear light in photoshop... (low resolution too bad) Then had my first experience with UVW mapping, after some hard work and experimenting i found the box button and managed to rotate, scale and move the bitmap in position
VOILA!!!!Veeeeery quick render with super sucky materials... but the texture is there and im proud as **** |

your going to make the head lights later right?? just having the lights there as a texture doesnt quite look as good as the rest of the car

I've been having problems with the lights too, but I don't want a texture because that'll bring the realism down. Maybe someone can post a lights tut for a TT or something here. It would help us both and probably more noobies who don't know how to do lights.

No big modeling progress, will get some done soon, however i tried to get to know mental ray..... didnt go so well, scene is crap, but it has HDRi
Wohooo, materials and everything needs tweeking... However heres a pic, all c&c are welcome plus all the tips about mental ray u have ![]() |

I'm not sure if you already knew this, but if you right click your bp planes and uncheck visible to camera, they are hidden in the render. Great model, I'm still working on my first and there is NO WAY it will turn out this good.
