Hey man

This is crisp and clean modeling. If i were to model by sections i would still be doing my first car... But this is a personal choice of workflow.
I can see you are putting all detail in it. Very nice.

To echo Zachary please don't efface this model with yet another "Dukes of Hazzard" car. The dark blue is THE color for this Chajja!
Waiting for upds.

:'( Ok ok, I get the message. :'(

Progress is slow at the moment, but I've added the front grille at least.

first off make your own thread, and second of all dont try to hijack one of the most popular threads, thats a real bad idea.

Re: '69 Charger

To end the 'how do you do reflection' sub-thread..... I'm using Max 7 with V-Ray for rendering with HDRI global illumination, a simple V-Ray material with the colour of my choice, reflection glossiness set at 0.95 and a fall-off map in the reflection slot. Nothing too complicated, and anyway all the materials are just thrown on there at the moment so I can see how it looks. I'm not an expert at rendering, in fact I've only just started with V-Ray but I pick up tips wherever I can either from here, elsewhere on the net or a good friend I know who is VERY good with V-Ray. What I do know is that to get nice reflections you need a nice environment or a well set up studio scene, and there are many tutorials around which explain how to do that for every renderer out there. Good luck with your TT.

Re: '69 Charger

Thanks Scoobs, you're right about the crease. I'm planning on sorting it when I weld the two halfs of the bonnet together.
I'd like to model a simple hinge or something for the grille headlight covers, so that I could animate them opening and the lights coming on. I know they rotate up out of the way when the lights are switched on, but I don't know what the mechanism looks like, so it'd be great if someone could show me how it works.
