Re: '69 Charger

Your link doesn't work palat... :?

And why is it that some people seem to be more interested in what hdri is used than on the actual model?!

Re: '69 Charger

Hey Palat thanks very much for that link. What a great site. Some very useful ref pics there. But now I want to go and buy most of those cars
Progress is still slow, we only have one computer in our house and it's tough getting on it sometimes. At the front I've remodelled the grille badges and added the chrome fender trims. Right now I'm working on the doors. Here's what it looks like so far. The orange colour is just for testing, I like to try different colours as I go along - dark blue seems to be the favourite.
(In answer to what HDRI, it's one that I bought from www.sachform.de)

Re: '69 Charger

Seeing how skilled you are, we who saw this far are relieved to know that you won't be satisfied with that hideous slabtop and will tweak the roof into a gently-sloping shape aft like in the ref pics.

Re: '69 Charger

LOL  As I said, I started on the main body. It's by no means finished, but as it's a WIP I thought I'd show that I've made progress. At the moment I'm getting the A-pillars and front (scuttle) panel the right shape and I'm looking at the door shuts too. When they're ok I'll work my way back and sort the roof out, then the rear pillars etc etc. I'm trying to maintain a 'front-to-back' working method, so the body will improve as I work backwards. I hope!

@Ravens - Thanks for the crit. When I saw that pic the other day it did make me look again at the front end, I don't think my fenders curve quite as much right now, so I'll get on and change them.

Thanks for all the C&C, keep 'em coming

Re: '69 Charger

Still working on this one, slowly but surely. Thanks for all the comments so far.
I've been working on the shape of the roof (hi Palat) and adding detail. C&C welcome as always.
