My Projects *Authorized R again*

This is my latest project, a Nissan Skyline GT-R R32, specifically this one. Polycount is 4,528, but it's because each wheel is 1,905 polies, but since it isn't going in a game I really don't care.

Obviously the front bumper is not finished, I'll add the openings tomorrow.

why everybody models highpoly cars?, whats the fun of it?.

personally i see no reason to do hi-poly models, it is just so damn BORING to watch render or two...
while you can make "lo-poly" and and convert it into game and have a lots of fun with driving it around

I agree. I used to made hipoly cars but my hipoly skills are much worse than lowpoly
And it's nice to see own car ingame

Lovely work and I think too that there's bit too much polies on your wheel

Re: My Projects *Nissan Skyline GT-R R32*

Bumper finished...

Now that Zachary mentioned it, this could be a fun car to drive in game. Problem is, I don't know how to get cars in Mafia or NFS or anything, and for Mafia I'd have to make an interior and what not (I'm not too good at interiors). If I can get help with stuff like that maybe I'll do it

BTW Zach that site you gave me with headlight pics doesn't work

well i guess that Krikke can convert it to Mafia. (he's also goin to convert mine GT-R to mafia). and maybe i could borrow mine GT-R's interior for your R32 project.

Don't want to sound stupid but I don't know the difference. I haven't learned the differences between different Nissan cars (like the Silvia Zenki and Kouki versions). But I think I'm gonna do the ones on the GT-R N1, like these

I don't have time to finish that little bit of the roof, I have to get off the comp in the next few minutes, but I'll post an update of what I have done.

Re: My Projects *Nissan Skyline GT-R R32*

Small update, but I'll post it anyways cause I'm probably gonna be gone the rest of the day. Made some changes on the front and finished the headlights. I couldn't get a good start on the N1 lights (I've never really been good at 3d headlights in the first place) so I made the normal ones.

Re: My Projects *Nissan Skyline GT-R R32*

I dont mind low poly, but i hate lowpoly models when the modeler never cares to render them, and instead posts un-anti-aliased pictures instead of renders - which make the car model look less than half as good as it really is.*

Re: My Projects *Nissan Skyline GT-R R32*

Looking good. I don't think its that the bumper is huge, but that the wheels look tiny with the wide kit on. Maybe consider rescaling them so that they hug the guards more. And those 3D headlights look fine to me.

Flight Engineer: "Hm. The engine's on fire. Interesting."
