low poly hummer bushmaster

this is my new hummer, experimenting with normal mapping and seeing what its capable of. needs some work adn c&c's welcome plz. also not only the wheels have been normal mapped so far

looks pretty neat i see the prints look all blurry change the settings in viewport under settings to open gl if ur video card supports that that way the prints will be much more neater and clearer anyway nice model

its about 7000 polys right now, im probably going to end up going for 8.5-9k polys, basically the nextgen system polycounts for standard vehicals, (more like 15k for NFS cars). im trying to get a good balance between geometry and normal mapping.

very cool, doesnt even look bad for low poly ...then again u dont need very many for a hummer ... its quite boxy in the first place

indeed, theres alot of flat surfaces where you could weld some verts to the faces corners to save lots of polys, especially if its staying low poly and not going to be meshsmoothed.
