Thanks for comments! Yeah it has couple of flaws here and there.. The side of the car for example needs more work and some parts have meshing problems. Im gonna work on them. I'll show wires soon as i've compiled the whole model together in rhino.. I've split it in pieces so i can work faster..

The Irradiance map calculation took like half an hour with medium setting and 20 interp. samples and 20 hsps subdivs.. Then i save it to disk and when i render from different angle i use the "add to current map" method so it only calculates where it needs more samples.. And use white environment skylight.. HDRI's take more time to render and you need to use high settings for it to look smooth.
The rendering itself doesn't take longer than 10 minutes.. Thanks for comments! |
