Another Audi TT

i am still learning to model cars... so i thought that Audi TT was a good choice .

Any advice on how to make the grill? having a hard time doing that....

(using Lightwave)

Its my experience that its easier to model the body as one mesh then separate the pieces and create your body lines, instead of trying to match body panels separately as you model them. Not sure if its the same in lw, as I'm a max user, but I think the theory would hold true.

yeah exactly right spizzy... thats how i do my panel lines... just model it as a whole car.. then detatch the parts make a lip then its a perfect panel line works like a charm.

I use LW too, and mostly I'm modeling panel by panel.. It's a matter of what you like

How to do the grille? I think TT grilles are just simple horizontal and verticle bars.. So just make a box, bandsaw the front edge of it, and you're done

Thanks for the replys ... i pretty much remodeled the entire model... so heres the progress ..

(the render is small and blurry, and got some errors, but i was in a hurry with the render... making a better one later on )
